Becca Chernek is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience across residential, school-based, and community mental health settings. She earned a Master’s dual degree in Social Work and Special Education from Boston University, along with a Trauma Certificate Specialization in 2017.

Becca began her career as a school-based clinician in 2018 at The Home for Little Wanderers, working closely with students, families, and school teams to support emotional well-being in real-world settings. This work continues to shape her clinical approach, which values collaboration, consistency, and meeting clients where they are. In addition to her private practice, Becca currently serves as Assistant Program Director of School Based Services at The Home, overseeing school-based services, supporting clinicians and program development.

Becca specializes in trauma-informed care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and holistic, integrative approaches to healing. Her therapeutic style blends evidence-based practices with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and developmentally appropriate interventions. She works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, emotional regulation challenges, school stressors, life transitions, and relationship concerns.

Becca founded Celestial Healing Counseling Center to offer compassionate, trauma-informed care that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She is committed to creating a space where clients and families feel welcomed, understood, and supported throughout their healing process.
